Great smaller community bank for people who like to bank with people that know them. Not to mention you don't deal with all of the other crap that big banks get you. This bank gets stuff done, and it's nice to be treated like a person and not like an account. I use them for commercial banking and I am way happier with them than I ever was with Wachovia or BB&T. They've also been expanding and are building a 3rd location. Highly recommended for those in the west Atlanta area.
I've been using HSB since the 1990's. If you want to get away from the Mega-banks, definitely give this small chain a try. I can always get someone helpful when I call who is able to take care of any issue quickly and professionally, and visiting their branches is always a pleasure. Their new Smyrna location is no different, I've been using it regularly since it opened, and it has some of the nicest and most helpful people I've dealt with since choosing this bank.
