I come here every month with $1,200 in tips to get a cashiers check. The lesser employees are constantly kind and competent. They—the boss man—finally got tired of me, basically told me to screw off unless I start a checking account with them.
If you're thinking about banking here.... DON'T!
If I could give this bank no or negative stars I would... making banking a 5/3 better? yeah that's a lie. I've had nothing but problems with this bank since I opened my acct at the end of August.
She was very very unprofessional. And seemed to want to humiliate me in front of other customers and bank employees. She questioned me about " where I get money from to pay off a credit card and demanded I tell her her the "source" of my income and money to pay off a credit card. She intentionally with malice and malicious intent froze my account without YES WITHOUT my permission based only on her discriminatory believe that me as a minority could not afford to pay off my credit card ! therefore the money was fraudulent ! She purposefully and willfully embarrassed me in front of other customers and other bank employees. She acted on behalf of fifth third Bank! do not open any accounts with this bank do not use this branch! this branc is at the Kroger's in 3249 South Cobb Dr., Smyrna, GA.
Not sure if the problem is this branch specifically or 5/3 as a unit but something needs to change....
I would never step foot at this location again. The Branch Manager act like Otis from Martin. Joel Allen has no customer service at all. Very rude ...Lol I went to get a form and was trated like an episide of Men n Black. Get it together. Dueces!!
Did not honor $200 promotion for opening checking account. Staff member Cuffy told me the promotion was still running although it had ended and branch manager Rashon ultimately admitted to his staff members error but refused to correct the situation.
They like to play with people's money and I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR IT!
The teller or senior teller / personal banker treated me like a criminal. I've used this institution Fifth Third bank since 2012. The " personal banker" was rude spoke to me like I was illetare, was degrading in her tone and speech and refused to give me money out of my personal account. She said " you will not be getting any money from me ". As if she had control over me. After telling me I was a fraud because I paid off my credit card account. She was degrading for no reason except she looked at me and had a nasty attitude with me. She then without my consent shut down my accounts & without my permission. This was done 3 minutes before the department closed. She acted solely on her personal feelings and discriminatory practices. She demanded I call another bank and "PROVE" I had money and I was able to pay off my credit card.
I've had money randomly missing, my promotion almost wasn't honored because an employee didn't add my promotional code, I've deposited checks and they just randomly get denied even tho the tellers told me it was ok to deposit them and many many more...
As soon as I find another bank I will be closing all of my accounts with them...
