This is my new mechanics shop for Infiniti, Lexus, Toyota and Honda. Fastlane Import Auto Repair
John is hands down the best in the business period. Highly recommend him to anyone needing vehicle repairs.
2. After telling the owner, Mr. Lamont, what the dealer was trying to pull, he quickly took the car to the back and had one of his specialist look at it.
5. He was able to get his guy to flush out most of the air in the heat exchanger behind the dashboard and said he'd only charge us 1/2 an hours labor plus fluids. I was real happy with that.
Fastlane Import Auto Repair is one of THE BEST in the business. My CEO recommended them to me and he himself has been a client for years!! I have taken my SUV to them for the past 2-3 years for scheduled maintenance services and I have been blown away by John and his team. These guys know all about cars and what it takes to make them run efficiently and effectively! I have taken my car to them for various services such as new brakes, brake flush, ignition coil pack, coolant flush, tune up / changing spark plugs, decarb service, oil changes, etc. Not only are they ALL pleasant to communicate with, they are very honest! They will tell you if a service is really needed and their prices will make you come back every time. Fastlane Import Auto is very diligent about your car as if it's their own. Hands down, I would recommend them over and over. And trust me, the only perk I received for wanting to write this review is PHENOMENAL SERVICE. Please keep up the good work Fastlane! I can't say thank you enough!!!
3. Within minutes he revealed to us that the smell was just coming from a radiator pinched hose that was clamped incorrectly. Remember, the dealer told her she needed a new radiator.
Honest pricing, clean facility, knowledgeable and started work at the scheduled appointment time.
1. When you walk into the place you are so impressed, because it is absolutely spotless and the decor and staff are very welcoming. Even the garage area looked like you could eat a Five Guys Burger off of the floor.
Whoa! I am impressed! I had a great mechanic with a small shop in Doraville who used to work on my cars. However, he disappeared one day and I was at the mercy of my vehicle's brand name dealership.
Scared her so much, she brought a brand new car. Fortunately, she didn't buy it from the Infiniti dealer in the NW atlanta area, that was trying to take her to the cleaners.
We were absolutely ecstatic and ready to pay. However, he decided since it took so little effort to fix the problem, that the dealers implied were going to cost thousands of dollars to fix, he didn't charge us. Although I insisted on paying for service, he let it go, and now he's got a customer for life with me and anyone that I know who says they need a good mechanic.
I was very pleased with my visit. Pricing was honest with no hidden fees at checkout. The facility is clean and staff presented themselves as knowledgeable and professional. They were also very thorough in showing what they were doing and why they were doing it. Also note that they specialize in import vehicles but don't take that as they only work on import vehicles. Bobby Flay has some specialty dishes too but I'm sure most everything he prepares is going to be damn tasty.... These guys are the same way and the mechanical principles between vehicles is fairly consistent. With that they fixed the alignment in my non-import, Dodge truck better than the dealer could have done it. So bring your import over here for good service and call them about your domestic vehicle. They can probably still help you out.
I called and spoke with John in advance to schedule a appointment, determine the cost of repair, and how long it would take. Once I got the the shop and checked in, it was almost as if no one had any idea what my appointment was for or any knowledge ofor my conversation with John. Needless to say my appointment that was supposed to take a MAX of 3 hours took closer to 5. What was really bothering was the fact that during the wait, there were several mechanics hanging out in the lobby and glass window to just talk. Customer service was good but could be great if your car diagnosis wasn't yelled across the waiting room to you but instead spoken to you directly side by side. Not very satisfied with the time and communication during my wait for repairs...
Recently wanted to purchase a used car from someone I knew well. They've always maintained their vehicle, but we agreed a mechanical check was the intelligent thing to do. In particular because, even though her vehicle ran well with very low miles, her Infiniti dealer was telling her she needed an new radiator and a new engine, when she was simply taking it in for routine maintenance. She smelled coolant so that only bolstered the dealer's story.
I shared this exact same review on Yelp, because I was so impressed with these guys.
To have the vehicle checked, I contacted T3 Automotive, but their schedules were booked. I've used T3 many times before. A google search of Infiniti specialists, popped up Fastlane Import Auto Repair, showing very high ratings. So we took the car there.
4. There was also a liquid gurgling sound coming from behind the dash. It could be either a simple air pocket or something requiring a little back flushing, neither fix to this item, would be anywhere near the cost of a new radiator or engine. The dealers scared my friend unnecessarily because she was a woman.
